Winter Fun

Okay, I've labelled this blog entry winter fun, and I've had lots of it, but let's face it, it's March 1st and I'm ready for winter to be done already! I have been enjoying the rare days of sunshine we've been having this week though.

Last weekend my clan travelled to the happening town of Bothwell to visit my dear friend Angelle & her family. They put us up for the whole weekend and kept us busy & fed, it was an absolutely wonderful time...thanks Gel!!

Here are some pics from the weekend:

Here's Obi playing his "ice" guitar :)

My dear friend Angelle with her gorgeous sweetie Holly :) I've been so thrilled that despite the distance we've managed to keep our friendship alive & thriving...love you Gel!

Here's the whole clan skating on a big puddle at the local park! They had had rain earlier in the week that froze into a nice smooth rink that Angelle insisted we shovel off & skate on, we had a blast! What a great weekend.

Meanwhile, life has continued on as normal...absolutely busy. I've just become an independent consultant for Epicure Selections, which has been fun so far! Hosted & consulted my first party on Monday and it went really well. I've already got 2 parties booked for March break that I'll be doing, so hopefully I can learn all my stuff by then :) The products are awesome, I've been using them for years so I knew I could sell them!

Other than that I've been busy teaching comfort measures at the local prenatal health classes, trying to wrap up postnatal visits, attending a birth in February (beautiful!), squeezing in prenatal appointments with new clients and trying to keep my house in order :) I've also started a life transformation group with a couple of girlfriends where we are trying to read Scripture together and become accountable as we train to be more like Christ. Plus my book study that I've been holding here every few weeks. Whew. It's all good stuff, but man it's busy.
