PA Day Fun!

Okay, so looks like I'm a monthly blogger...now that's not such a horrible thing is it?

At the end of September the kids had a PA Day, and we were thrilled to discover that Joel was off for a change! With no women due in the near future we were free to venture further away and decided to take advantage of our free day and we headed to the big city to visit the Science Center. The kids had never been there before and we were so excited to discover it with them!

The traffic to and from the Center was horrendous (we both talked about how we can't imagine how people drive in that every day!)...small town living rocks! :) We were also bummed that the sports section was closed and that they were in between events (we missed Lizard and Snakes Alive and were too early for BodyWorlds-not that I minded really, but Joel was really sad about that one). Despite the downers, we had an awesome day of learning and exploring!

Izzy getting a little 'windblown', that thing was definitely a highlight of the day :) Made for great shots. Love this one too...

The kids were seeing how much water the 3 of them had all together. I believe it was close to 50 litres!

We had a terrific day! I am so grateful that I have a family that loves to spend time together.
