Siebert Camping: The Girls

Well, Pete got a hold of my camera the weekend of Siebert camping. I came home with over 400 pictures plus short video clips from our weekend adventures. How on earth do I weed through those and upload only a few to highlight the weekend? Believe me, for a packrat and cluttered person, this is a difficult task :)

I've decided to divide up topics with my entries. Today's topic: Siebert girls

There aren't many of them...at least not when you look at the kids in the family. Thankfully Pete & Tanya were adopted into the Siebert clan decades ago because otherwise my girls would only have baby Ellie as the other female Siebert to hang out with. Pete & Tanya's daughter Anna is a wonderful friend to Izzy. Here are the two girls sharing a moment during mealtime:

The two were practically inseparable for the weekend...even sleeping in each others trailers (for one night anyway :). The two spent almost the entire weekend at the petting zoo across the road from our campsite. Here they are feeding the deer:

We were so glad the petting zoo was there. Even though the stinkin geese honking like crazy early in the morning woke us up, the amount of entertainment it provided for the kids made it worth it! There was only one time when we could smell the "fresh zoo air" drifting over into our site. Thanks to the cool and rainy weather.

And here's our darlin Ellie. Brad & Leah's daughter: the sweet babe that will make a great playmate for Lyric in another year or two. In this pic she's showing off her new talent of clapping. She was a delight. She had fun hanging out with Papa and playing with his beard.

Then there's little Lickey Loo. Now this girl was BORN to camp. Since coming home from the trip she has asked me several times when we're going camping again. Her little heart breaks every time I have to answer with "not until next year honey". Poor thing. She has always been my little outdoor girl. She stayed busy visiting the deer, playing in the pool and going on several wagon rides. Here she is enjoying a Bismark donut care of the Tasty Nu:

So those are the sweet little Siebert Granddaughters...next time I'll talk about the boys and what kept them busy for the weekend.

Hey chicky,
Just read the latest blog and thought the bismark was cute. That's Nick's fave too. We should get together soon and have a donut for ourselves. Yummy.
