Christmas Day '07

Don't know what I did on this picture, but I love the effect: magical :) Perfect for Christmas!

Here's Obi and Izzy putting on the Nativity play for us on Christmas morning :) So sweet!

Christmas morning we took our time opening gifts and playing with them. The girls got a princess canopy that Joel put up during the night, Obi got a new lunchpail and they all got a CD/tape player for their own rooms. It was a great Christmas :) We gave each of the kids $20 to shop with for families in Asia. For a mere $60 our family was able to purchase 6 chickens, 4 rabbits, 8 New Testament Bibles, a blanket and some Bible School materials for kids. Amazing eh? The kids enjoyed looking through the magazine and shopping with their own money. It was fun.

Later that day we headed up to Hanover to my mom and dad's just outside Hanover to celebrate Christmas with the Nafzigers. We had a great time reconnecting with family. We don't see my parents & brothers family & Grandma nearly as often as I would like, so I really cherish the times when we are together.

Here we are...the happy couple :) What a goof!

Here's my youngest nephew on the Nafziger side: Isaak, showing off his Toopy and Binoo pj's (never heard of those guys, but he loves them!)

Here's Lyric showing off her favourite Christmas gift: a jewellery box from Uncle Mike & Aunt Karie (and family). She sleeps with it every night now.

Here are a couple of my favourite men on earth: my hubby & my bro playing cranium.

Here's my kids checking out Papa's (or is it Santa?) gift :)

It's sweet moments like these that make me so grateful to God for wonderful family!! I'm so blessed! (another of my favourite men...my Daddy :)

Here's Obi watching "Big Grandma" open her gift. What a blessing that I still have one Grandparent to celebrate with...I miss the others!!

Isaak enjoying his gift from us...thankfully the other two cars he got for Christmas were Chick Hicks and Doc Hudson.
