WOW...It sure has been an exciting week here in
Siebertville. It's unbelievable to me that just one week ago (and a day) the kids were in school and the parties were all ahead of us. In the past 8 days we've experienced:
Siebert Christmas in Zurich, church here, Christmas Eve in Zurich, Christmas morning opening gifts together at home, up to Hanover for Christmas with the
Nafzigers for a few days, the Nutcracker ballet with Izzy, "fake New Years" party with the
Janssens and then started off this morning with Izzy throwing up...FUN. Gratefully, she only threw up twice and then bounced back like it had never happened. We ended up packing up the kids and heading to London for the Bee movie and dinner out. We had a great time.
Good times are also ahead with church & supper at a friends tomorrow, New Years party on Monday, and hosting another dinner Thursday night to thank Uncle
Gord & Aunt Paula. We certainly know how to jam a lot of fun into a 2 week holiday break from school :)
So today I will share a bit about last weekend at mom and dad's in Zurich. Hopefully as the week wears on I will get on and share a bit more about the other events I've mentioned :)
Siebert Christmas as always was a real blast. It involves 20 people and a whole lot of eating and laughing and hanging out. The kids have a lot of fun considering there are 10 of them, all but one are 8 years old and younger! Here are some pics of the kids enjoying themselves:

Lyric striking a pose...she LOVES having her pic taken :)

Here's Obi pretending he doesn't want Uncle Pete taking his picture. Some of the other kiddies are getting their breakfast in the background. You can imagine the noise and excitement when we all get together!

This year Uncle Jared brought Guitar Hero along...what a BLAST!! We took turns and had that game on most of the time that we were there. (Yes, Leah's shirt says "I love Intercourse" :), but it's a town in
Pennsylvania...her guitar in hiding the PA in the
bottom left corner...too funny!)
The adults shared a rousing game of
Guesstures late into the night: here are some picture highlights:

I love this picture of mom...she looks so happy hanging out with all her kids :)

And here's Amy the guest of honour playing the game with us. We all fell in love with Amy at a friends' wedding in September and invited her along to the family Christmas to add some extra
pizzaz to the party ;) Love ya Amy!
Will post more pics in a moment...
