I'm always amazed by how much slowing my breath down and
focusing on just breathing really helps me to relax. I taught 12 soon-to-be moms tonight how to slow down and breathe. It's what I've been working on these past 2 months through the summer. I've been easier on myself about blogging, getting up early, and many other things. I'm trying to drink in the beautiful moments of summer...and just breathe. It's very hard for me. My mind loves to go a mile a minute. It takes a lot for me to slow down. But I've been really working on it.
Here are some wonderful moments from this past week:

I LOVE this picture. The true joy on Joel and Izzy's face just make me smile :) Oh the carefree days of summer.

Here's my other beautiful daughter enjoying our friend's pool.

My 'new' friend Amy snuggled up with her daughter. It's been good to develop new friendships.

Obi reaching for his water gun to shoot his Daddy with :) The joys of boys.

My
darlin's sharing a story together. Nothing makes me happier than my kids enjoying
each other's company.
Today I had a final postpartum visit with my June client. It was great to see the new baby and to talk with the couple. It was exactly what I needed. They told me how much I had helped them and how I was made to do that job. She explained how gentle and soothing my touch was during labour. Thank you God for confirmation that indeed, this is exactly where you want me to be.
As a thank-you I got these beautiful flowers...aren't they incredible?! I swear I love flowers more and more by the day. Such beautiful things...not created by human hands. Absolutely exquisite, and delicate.
