I can't believe that Joel and I have been married 9 years today. Incredible! It's been quite the nine years :) We've had a lot of really wonderful times, and some rough periods too, but on the whole it's been an amazing 9 years. I imagine how different my life was 9 years ago. I can't remember what life was like without kids, without a big old house to take care of, without 5 schedules to keep straight in my head. I am so absolutely grateful for my marriage and my family.
When I 'met' Joel almost 12 years ago I knew almost right away that he was the one for me. His wacky sense of humour, his rugged good looks, the way he looked in his paramedic uniform ;). I reminded him tonight that if I wouldn't have called him the day after we met, we may never had ended up where we are today. Joel is such a blessing and a GIFT to me. There is seldom a day that goes by where I don't remember back to how God saved me from marrying the 'wrong guy' and brought Joel into my life at the perfect time.
So Happy Anniversary my darling. I look forward to many, many more years of friendship and love and laughs with you.
