2 Weddings down...one to go

The beautiful bride...Jessica

The wild man Mark

Seriously though, I've been enjoying these weddings! I just wish they'd been a little more spread out, that's all.

This week it was in Oakville on Friday. Mark is a longtime friend of Joel's. Joel was just starting to live with Mark when he and I met. Mark and I used to fight for Joel's affection...we always joked about the fact that I was cutting into their relationship. I was always jealous that Mark was the one that got to share a room with him :) Those two had a blast in those days. I remember stories of beef jerky-eating contests that were furry with cayenne pepper from Zehrs, the two of them having fun throwing a frozen turkey from their balcony into the garbage dumpster at their apartment, and all the fun books Mark used to create and leave around the house. He was quite the character. He seems to have toned down quite considerably since then!
The day was perfect. It was sunny (very windy), but beautiful. We got to stay in a hotel overnight and Kim and Lynn had our kids which was a real treat!

Here's the happy couple cutting the cake:

The dance was a blast once again. One of the highlights of the night was watching this lady puttin the moves on Joel's brother Jared. It was HILARIOUS! Jared obviously enjoyed it :) Kath got a real kick out of it as well...as did we all.

Oh yes, good times were had by all.

So one wedding to go yet. This Saturday my cousin Colin ties the knot in Petrolia.
