Some of the Wacky Thanksgiving Pics

This has got to be my favourite pic. This is my one and only Siebert neice (at least by blood). Sometimes I think she looks at our clan and wonders what the heck she's doing here :) She often has such a serious (and seriously cute) little face! We all know that in another year or so, she'll be right in the wrestling ring with the rest of 'em. You can't fool us Ellie-Bellie. You're just as crazy as the rest of us...it's in your blood!

Okay, so I wasn't going to blog about Thanksgiving, but you all deserve 2 posts since I haven't posted in so long :)

Siebert Thanksgiving was definitely much rowdier than the Thanksgiving traditions I'm accustomed to with the Nafzigers. There are several reasons for this. Some of them being:

1) Izzy is the oldest of SEVEN Grandkids
2) The get-together was full of Sieberts (doesn't that say it all...let's face it, they are a wild and crazy bunch)
3) The holidays inevitably involve SUGAR and lots of it. Grandpa & Grandma always show up with some sort of sugary treats. This time it was chocolate AND cotton candy (oh my)
4) It was over THIRTY degrees outside so we were all stuck inside in the air conditioning (okay, now that was definitely not ordinary)

This is what happened for most of the afternoon : Joel had fun wrestling with the kids. Believe me, he worked up a sweat despite the A/C. You can tell the kids were loving it though :) Here Soren's getting nurped

Ah Nafer-Noo. He's quite the little cutie pie. This little sweetie was born in Izzy's room. It was a real joy to attend (and host) the birth of my nephew. Not many people have had an opportunity like that!


Me & my oldest kiddies. It was quite the day. By late afternoon we were all ready for some quiet and our own beds again. Thanks Uncle Jared & Aunt Kath for letting us invade your home this year. It was great.
