A Wonderful (but not white) Christmas :)

Well, since I haven't posted in almost a week I've got a lot to talk about. I'll start out with Siebert Christmas memories from last weekend and cover the rest of the week over the next couple of days.

Siebert Christmas began Friday evening with a buffet of appetizers for supper. We had a blast 'grazing' on wonderful snack food (some healthy, others not so much :) We had some great times chatting and laughing as a family. We were pretty proud of how well all the kids did at getting along. There were very few fights between the kids which is pretty impressive for 10 kids, 9 of them 6 and under! Every year the celebration gets better as the kids get older and more independent. Our family is now officially complete (at least for babies being born into the family...maybe someone will adopt, or we'll just adopt another family into the bunch...who knows :)

Here are some pics of the weekend:

Joel and Brad enjoying some 'Christmas Cheer' ;) They really haven't had as much to drink as they are trying to show in the picture...goofballs!

A lovely picture of Dad Siebert and Joel's brother Jared. Gee, you can't tell those 2 are related can you?

Here's a picture of all of the kids (minus Nathan and the two Bowman babes) blowing out the canles on Jesus' birthday cake. Good job on the cake Aunt Leah...wish you would have been there to enjoy it with us..sorry you guys had to leave.

For Christmas this year we bought mom and dad season passes to the Blyth theatre. Jared and Kathy thought it would be cute to have all the grandkiddies act out the Christmas story (complete with baby Jesus ...Ellie...who cried :). We had the angel, Mary and Joseph, the shepherds and the wise guys who proceeded to give the gifts to mom and dad instead of the baby. It was pretty cute. Grandma and Grandpa loved it.

It was a wonderful weekend. I feel so blessed to have married into such a wonderful family. Love you guys!
