Business is Booming!!!

My doula business is booming right now. I am blown away by the business coming my way, and I'm scared about the business I may get out of this health fair this weekend, not to mention from the classes I'll be teaching in July and August. Don't get me wrong, I'm thrilled that women are learning about doulas and that people want to hire me, but I'm also getting scared that I won't be able to handle the caseload!

Not only that, but my dear sweet sitter Oma is moving away! She is a retired dutch lady that we all love. She was willing to take my kids at a moments notice, no problem. She also lived a few doors down from the bus stop which was perfect. So now I'm back in the spot of needing another person I can call if I get a call during the day. Argh.

Tomorrow night I meet with my July couple. In another week or so I'll be starting some postnatal visits with my May clients. This is getting to be a full-time job!!

I also received my note from the Board of Ed. asking if I'd like to be on the supply list again next year. From the looks of it I may not have much availability again next year (since I don't like taking shifts close to client's due dates). They have yet to complain about my lack of availability so I think I'll keep my name in there in case I do have some months without clients.

I think I need to cut some things out of my schedule. Life is too crazy. With the volunteering, speaking at the hospital, speaking at the health unit, doing health fairs, organizing my women's group, etc. Wow

Do I sound frazzled?
