Two Tea Parties in Two Days!

This has been a week full of fun times, it's been great.

Tuesday my friend Monica came over with her sweet daughter Maia to have a tea party. The girls (Lyric and Maia) had a great time together. Here are some pictures of Lyric feeding Maia some tea

Monica and I managed to do a little bit of talking amidst the flurry of little girls playing and Obi wanting to share all his news. It's great to have friends!

Wednesday another dear friend: Colleen came over. Aunt Colleen is one of Lyric's favourites because she takes the time to come over and share tea parties with her. Colleen and I met 3 years ago when we would drop our kids off at school (Izzy and her son Nick were in the same Kindergarten class). Even though we don't see each other at school anymore since we changed schools, Colleen and I have made sure to keep in touch, she's an awesome friend!


Here's a picture of Lyric laughing as she feeds Colleen tea-shots. She must have had 20 little cups of water to drink as Lyric chanted "another one". At one point Colleen started laughing at the speed with which she was being re-filled and she ended up spewing water out her nose (hence the wet shirt). We both laughed so hard there were tears coming out of our eyes. Good times!

It's been a real refreshing week after a tough weekend! Tonight I even get to go on a DATE with my darlin hubby. Our first date in I don't even know how long. We're finally using gift certificates for Eddingtons in Exeter that Joel got as a thank you for playing at a wedding last July. They expire in less than a month so we figured we'd better hurry up and use them.
