I haven't had anything really earth-shattering to write about lately. I feel like my brain is being fried by the heat. I also haven't been sleeping well with stressing about when my client will deliver, Lyric having her thumbs wrapped to stop her thumb-sucking (therefore being up), Obi's awakening with nightmares and Izzy waking up crying from her sore throat. Argh. Feels like I've had a newborn in the house again. Tonight is full moon too, so that never helps things. The great thing is, starting at 8 am tomorrow morning, I'll have Joel home for 8 days to stay with the kids when I get called for my final May birth. This will take a huge weight off my shoulders which I'm really looking forward to!!
I'm still working with Lyric on the toilet training, she pees every time I put her on the potty, but still doesn't seem to realize when she has to go, and refuses to poop in the toilet :(. Last night was the first night we taped her thumbs (after a visit to the dentist and the dentist telling us we had to get her to stop). 3 Weeks he says, and she'll be cured...we'll see, I would LOVE it if that would happen. Let me tell you it broke my heart watching her toss and turn, the thumb going to her mouth every few seconds, only to remember and sigh, pulling her arms back to her side. I know she barely slept a wink. It was horrible. If I were to ever have a child again I would stick that soother in every time it would try to suck it's thumb. Thumbsucking is the worst habit on earth to break.
Other than that, things are great around here. We're looking forward to hanging out at the fair this weekend. It'll be a blast.

Finally have a chance to look at your blog again. Time is flying by so fast and it feels like forever since we've talked. Glad to hear the family is doing good and having fun!
