I was devastated to read today on my sister-in-law's blog (www.edeva.ca), that one of the women from the LaTienda Co-op passed away. Please read her blog for Jan. 15th to see a beautiful tribute to this amazing woman who's life was changed by this program. You can read Tita's story on there and even see a video clip of her being interviewed by Rachel. I am awaiting the delivery of a package from the co-op and hope to have an open house in the next month (once I receive it). It's a practical way that you can help others who have so much less than yourself.

My heart breaks to think that this young woman's life has ended just when she'd really blossomed into the woman she was made to be. I can't imagine how tough this time will be for the other women at the co-op and most of all for Tita's young son. Please say a prayer for them today.
