I mean, we tried and tried to figure out if it could possibly mean anything else, but that HAD to be what it meant. So for all of you who didn't figure it out the first time, go back and read that entry. It'll be much funnier this time around...guaranteed.

when i read your original blog about the license plate, i DID get the bumper stumper but i had such mixed emotions about the entire tale that i just felt i couldn't respond! i didn't know whether to laugh or shake my head in disgust:)
OK, maybe I'm an idiot but I am wondering if the CX stands for Corolla X - since that is what they are driving? Sorry to be a party pooper but I don't think the license people would let them? I am wondering what was on your minds when you were deciphering it :) ?
I think it is a play on words. I agree that it stands for Corolla X, but I'm sure the owners are well aware of the other interpretation.
Hey you never know, maybe one of them has a heart condition where it could be dangerous, but worth dying for...
I don't think it's the Corolla X to die for...common ladies, who's going to die for their vehicle?? Maybe it's Six to die for (maybe they have six grandkids or something). Discussed it this weekend and came to the conclusion that the licence people probably didn't notice it either, if it would have been SX2DY4 my dad says they never would have gotten away with it, but with the C it's not so noticable.
Guess we'll never know :) I'd still be embarassed to drive around with it.
