Girl's Weekend Away

Well, it's my second most favourite weekend of the year (behind my weekend away with Joel), it's the all-girls craft retreat. We rent a guide camp up north and spend the weekend in our jammies (if we want), doing whatever we want. I'm taking my scrapbooking and card-making stuff up, as well as my Tienda goodies for the ladies to see, my journal and my reading that I have to do. The weekend is supposed to be gorgeous so I'm looking forward to some hiking by myself and some quiet time with God. It's going to be great.

This is all thanks to my incredible, handsome husband Joel. I am so blessed to have a man that knows how much I need a break, and lets me take it...even when I"ve barely seen him in 2 weeks!!! Now that's LOVE.

Monday is a PA day, so that's cool. Joel is going to take the day off so we can spend it together as a family. I'm looking forward to that as well. The last two weeks I have to say, have been the busiest yet in our marriage. We've had something going on every night (and do this coming week as well). I'm also on call now and could be going to a birth anytime, so May is likely to be pretty busy as well.

So, I'm going to enjoy my 2 nights and one full day of freedom, quiet and no appointments (I have to be back in Goderich Sunday by 10:00 am for the Ask-a-doula even at Wal-Mart). So we'll talk to you later. Hopefully I'll get some pictures this weekend.

Hey, what did you do to my darling little girl's hair????
I pray you have a refreshing time away for the weekend!

Tee hee, that's a super-old photo, I just couldn't think of what else to put for my topic :) Doesn't she look young in that one? I know, her hair looked terrible, although she does need a trim right now!
